The Royal British Legion celebrates the 90th anniversary of its founding this year.

In the past ninety years it has become both a revered national institution and a major contemporary charity. It is the largest charity supporting the service community and with the reduction in public expenditure in the years ahead assumes even more importance in supporting the Armed Forces and their families.
In Headley, we continue to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal through social events and have again raised records sums of money. We depend not only on our members, but on a large contingent of volunteers to help with our events and the important task of selling poppies during the period of remembrance in November every year.
The legion is open to all members of the community, male and female and we would welcome you to our ranks or for your support in our endeavors.
