HEADLEY RINGCRAFT ASSOCIATION
http://www.headley-village.com/ringcraft
Ringcraft is run to assist people in training their dog for the show ring. We meet on Wednesday at 7.30pm in Headley Village Hall. Our website is linked to the Headley Village site if you require any further information. Our aim is to help people socialise their dog and for them to learn to present the dog to the best advantage whilst being judged. We have many different breeds attending from Border Terriers to Irish Wolfhounds
Several members have qualified for Crufts 2008. Some
people also do obedience and agility work with their dogs and
others have trained gundogs who regularly work on local
shoots.
We hold two Eye Testing sessions for hereditary diseases in
dogs. Owners who wish to breed from their animal need to
know that it is free from problems specific to a various breed.
We have a specialist vet in attendance who is allowed to issue
the required certificate. We normally have around 45 dogs
seen on the day.
On August Bank Holiday Monday we hold our Companion Dog Show. Luckily the weather has been kind to us for the last few years! Thank you to all the local people who come and take part in our fund-raising. We also ran the Dog Show at Headley Fete and hope to see you all there in September 2008 to have some fun with your dog.
