School Aim and Christian Foundation
We believe that every child has the right to learn and be able to do the best that
they can.
The school is a 4–11 Church Of England Controlled primary school and has approximately 128 children on roll.
The Holme School occupies a pleasant and extensive site. The grounds are
divided into areas for play and educational activities. There is a wood, a pond and
an outdoor swimming pool. Inside, the school currently comprises seven
classrooms, an ICT suite, a nurture room, a SEN room, a hall, a library, offices,
and staff room.
As a church school, the pupils have daily collective worship; they attend All Saints
Church monthly as well as for Christian Festivals such as Harvest.
The formation of classes and the number of children allocated to each class
depends upon the number of children in each year group. The intention is to have
single year group classes with no more than thirty pupils in each class.
