ATTENTION! ATTENTION!
Due to replacement of perimeter fencing only one court will be available from Wed. 16 July – Fri. 25 July inclusive.
SUNDAY 27th JULY...American Tournament and BBQ.
This will take the same format as last year with an American Tournament for adults starting with the draw at 1pm, followed by a bring your own food & drink BBQ at approx.4.00pm. Everyone is welcome to join in the socialising, playing or not.
If you wish to play, entry cost £2.00 payable on the day, either:
a) fill in the form at the end of this Newsletter
b) email Nina (nina@twickes.co.uk)
c) put your name on the list in the clubhouse.
All entries need to be in by Thursday 24 July at the latest. Please bring your own plates, cutlery & glasses to the BBQ. Salads, sauces, bread and soft drink will be provided.

SUNDAY 24th AUG. Social Sunday Tennis and Tea.
We hope this will take off as a regular thing if it is supported. The idea is for any members to turn up at 2.30pm and play each other followed by tea and cakes. If you are interested perhaps you could let Shirley know (shirley@winckless.com)so that we can judge the support.
SATURDAY 1st NOV. Skittles Evening @ The Jolly Farmer, Blacknest. Details later.
XMAS DINNER. Date and venue to be decided.
If you have paid your sub. and if you have not been given a key to the courts, please contact Shirley Winckless.
Please remember that there are adult “turn up and play” club sessions. Everyone is welcome!
Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9.30 to noon
Thursday evenings 8 – 10 pm
As requested by Members at last year’s AGM, new floodlights have now been installed and can be used by all adult members. If you are interested, please contact Geoff or Robin as a deposit is needed and instructions given. You will require a clubhouse key to access the light switches.
Tennis balls are available at £5 for 4 (Wilson Double Core) from Hazel on 01428 715464.
