Nobody seems quite sure why this is called ‘Park Lane’ ...

... but fans of Monopoly will be pleased to note that it passes a track to the left leading to Mayfair riding stables.

This track ends at a junction with BW14 and Smithfield Lane (photo in reverse direction).
