Footpath No.20 – Hammer Lane to Whitmore Vale Road

A finger post on Hammer Lane points across the road ...

... to a small gate into Cobwebs garden.

The gate is no longer in use (Aug 2020) and walkers must use Cobwebs drive to access the path which runs between it and St Clair, the neighbouring property.

The path is narrow, running between fences, and almost blocked at one point by a telephone pole.

It continues downhill, somewhat steep and uneven in places ...

... with a paling fence on the right-hand side ...

... until near the bottom when it squeezes through to end at Whitmore Vale Road on the drive of Walnut Well.
