Footpath No.512 – Long Cross Hill to High Street (around the Rectory Field)

Updated September 2020

Note: There used to be a well-used unfenced path cutting directly across the Rectory Field, but this was blocked in 2011 after a dispute with the landowners and the current circuitous diversion offered in its place.

The path is waymarked to the right of the farm gate off Long Cross Hill.

It follows the fence on the left ...

... around two sides of the field, coming out at the Church Centre.

Entry in reverse direction, from the Church Centre.
Note: With the Brae path (FP28), this forms a convenient link between Arford/Headley Down and the Headley High Street.
