A finger post on Hammer Lane, opposite Assisi, leads through a gap by a gate into woodland.

... leading to a stile below a large half-fallen oak.  This path was shown on the Enclosure Award of 1859 as a footpath 10 feet wide.

... arrive at Churt Road by Plaster Hill Farm (photo in reverse direction).  To continue the walk to Bacon Lane, take FP16, diagonally opposite across Churt Road.
