Updated August 2020

Continues as Kingsley FP23 to junction with other Kingsley rights of way

1
A finger post on Picketts Hill Road opposite BW54 leads through a gap in the hedge ...

2
... to a narrow path leading sharply downhill ...

3
... into the grassed bottom of an old sand pit.

4
It then rises steeply uphill ...

5
... to meet the concrete road to Trottsford Farm at a gap in a fence.

6
Turn right along the road and down past Trottsford Farm ...

7
... after which the track, though wide, is unmettled.

8
It eventually arrives at a gate leading to a substantial stone bridge over the River Slea, which at this point is the boundary between Headley and Kingsley parishes.

9
This is the end of Headley FP48 which now becomes Kingsley FP23, and continues across a field ...

10
... to a junction with a concrete road (photo in reverse direction).

Here you may proceed straight ahead for paths to the north, or right on Kingsley FP26 through sandpit works to the east.
