Footpath Kingsley No.26 – Frith End Sand Pit to Cradle Lane

This path is included as it forms a link between Headley paths FP48 and FP8 which are well-used by local walkers.

From a junction of roads, follow the ‘Footpath’ sign to the right of the Works entrance ...

... and shortly fork left (not signposted ...

... to arrive at a gate.  Cross the Works road with care and go through the smaller gate opposite ...

... along a path which goes between working sand pits.

In season, the hedge on the left is a good source of sloes!

The path continues, eventually leaving the sandpit works ...

... to arrive at Cradle Lane by a wooden plank bridge over a ditch (photo in reverse direction).

The stile to Headley FP8 is almost opposite you.
