National Trust paths in Gentles Copse (From Gentles Lane to BOAT 38 and the Bramshott Parish boundary)

Updated July 2020

1
The entrance to Gentles Copse is off Gentles Lane to the left of a 5-bar gate to a private property.
2
There is a National Trust sign at the start of the path.
3
The path follows the edge of the private property, turning slightly right at the end of the boundary fence.
4
The track from here can be very muddy at times. At a NT guide post with a horseshoe the bridleway bears right.
5
To the left is a path which leads downhill to meet BOAT38 at its junction with Pond Road at a small NT car park.  This is the view up the track from that car park,
6
Following the bridleway, the track curves left to follow the boundary of some fields, then sharply right through a gap in a bank.  This marks the boundary with Bramshott Parish.  (The bridleway continues into Bramshott Parish)
7
Note: An undistinguished path leading straight ahead at the bend follows the Headley/Bramshott boundary bank which rises to an impressive height in places.
