Footpath across Hatch Farm watermeadows and aqueduct, Standford

Note: This path is maintained by the River Wey Trust. It makes for a pleasant, short circular walk with FP33 and the footbridge over the river by Standford ford.

The path leads off the main road (B3004) near to the Robin Hood houses, indicated by a River Wey Trust information board.

The board shows how the watermeadow would have been used, and the function of the aqueduct.

Occasionally the path has been known to get a little overgrown, but it is shown here when clear.

After turning sharp left it arrives at a kissing gate ...

... then turns sharp right to cross the watermeadow ...

... towards the aqueduct.

Follow the track across the aqueduct. This was restored by the River Wey Trust in 2005, and is a good place to stop for a while and watch the river flowing underneath.

The path ends with another kissing gate giving access to FP33.
